I'm So Happy toMeet You!
Kelsey Lee Designs’ main focus is always the relationship with the client. Understanding them and their brand from everyday job tasks to their beliefs and personality. I believe that a strong relationship with the client leads to a stronger brand from logo creation to a full blown marketing campaign. Meetings should always be full of life, straight forward, productive, and most important, creative. My creative style takes bold color combinations, bold vs script font combinations, icons, and patterns to create detail-oriented graphics that do not seem overwhelming. Paying close attention to the details takes time but results in the client receiving the best of my design abilities.
My design process includes plenty of brainstorming both by myself and with the client. I believe that it is important for the client to be involved in this step of the process because it will lead to easier explanations of design choices later in the process. After brainstorming comes ideation and the roughs in which all bad and good ideas are explored. This is so because some of the greatest designs starts as the worst ideas that are reworked over and over, pushing each one further. Once the final concept is chosen I make sure that every detail is in place, every anchor point to color placement. The simplest of details can make or break a design, this is why I find this the crucial final step in the design process.
The Process

On a Personal Note
I graduated from Liberty University with a BS in Graphic Design and a BS in Strategic Communication. I not only wanted to learn how to design effectively but know the business side and a deeper why behind the design.

My background includes working in a screen print shop, creating tee designs to match any company or schools needs. Fav part of the job is always getting to sit down with clients and talk through all the design possibilities.

When I'm not designing I'm hanging with family and friends, painting, and watching home demos.

Current music rotation is Surfaces and Johnnyswim.

Life goal is to have a fenced in back yard for my pups to run around in with a garden of hydrangea bushes.
